I think we should all chip in and make a FAQ... if its a good idea maybe it could get stickied. (turn your sig off)

Q: Can I use dishwashing soap on my truck?
A: No, it strips the wax

Q: Can I use amonia to clean windows?
A: Not on tinted windows, it will turn your tint purple.

Not a bad idea.....

BTW, you can use an amonia based window cleaner on newer tints...only old "cheap" tint till get's purple. Most new tints are resistant, but it's a good idea to ask your installer if it's safe.:D

:LOL: :word: Even though I still make sure not to use ammonia-based cleaners out of habit, as long as you have a quality, metallic film on the windows, it won't harm the tint.
