I have been using a wax called Dri-Wash'n Guard (http://www.waterless-wash.com/about.htm) for about three months & I have to say it is the best wax & the easiest wax to apply that I have found so far. My brother in Texas told me about it & that he has been using it for years & I can see why, It is a lazy man's wax. It only takes me about one hour to wax my whole truck. Even though they say you can used the stuff on a dirty vehicle I just couldnt bare to do it, I have to wash my truck every time before waxing. The wax isn't cheap & only last about three washes but it is still worth it in my opinion, I just wax my truck once a month. I haven't tried Zaino yet but a camaro friend of mine uses it & I plan on comparing the waxes with him to see which I like best.

I believe those are kinda made for in between waxes. I don't believe they give you the protection of a true hand waxed finish. I along with many on here have been using the eagle one "dry'n'wax" or something like that with good results. Plus it is fairly reasonably priced. LIke $6.00 for a bottle, I get about 5 or 6 waxes out of it. I really like it.

Thanks for the input tsbrewers, I will have to try that dry'nwax to see if it is better that the stuff I use. The one thing I do know is I wish I had Dri-Wash'n Guard when I used to put the camaro I use to own in car shows because it gives an awesome shine in very little time.

Give it a try, it isn't that expensive anyway. Surprised more people have spoke up about it, there was a big thread about it last year and a lot of people said they used. Maybe it was a flovor of the week thing and no one else used it any more. :)

My stock wheels on my 98 silverado are not looking real good. You can't notice from a distance, but if you get up close it looks like dried water or something on some of the wheels. I think its because I put some polish on it when it was out in the sun...(yah im stupid) well, is there anything at wal mart that I can get that will strip my wheels clean?

BuStA, not sure were the spots are on your rims but I know to get hard water spots off of the paint you can use wash with white vinegar. I also know it you want to remove all wax or polish off of paint you can wash with dawn dish washing fluid but you have to wax after doing so or your paint will not be protected.

My dad bought some of that dri-wash'n Guard stuff at a show he went to when he was in Cali. The guy said it was suposed to be real wax but it lets the paint breath rather than regular waxes that completly seal the pain. Personally I didn't really like it, mostly because it didn't last very long but it does go on really fast with really no way to mess it up, truly the ultimate lazy man's wax. Acording to this guy it is also much better for your paint in the long run and the guy seemed to know what he was talking about.
