Bought a set of Jacobs spark plug wires a year or so ago. One of them recently went bad so I called the company to get it warrantied. Boy what a hassle. Unbelievable how hard it is to be able to speak to a real person. Tried email, no response after a week. Finally was able to speak with a real person and was told, "must have proof of purchase". Told them I didn't have a receipt, but had sent in the product registration card when I purchased the wires. Then I was told, "we don't have that information". Apparently the company was sold, but they conveniently did not transfer the customer product information to the new folks.

I'll never purchase another thing from Jacobs. Probably a good product, but the customer service is poor.

Hmmmm, never heard of them being sold. I delt w/ them years ago directly when i bought my Ultra Team and Ceramic wires and they were nothing but helpfull.

When I first ordered the wires I gave them a call. At that time they were very helpful. I called them a few times to ask about other products they had. Each time they were helpful and easy to make contact with.

Far cry from what they are like now. I wish they hadn't been sold.
