Bought a set of Jacobs spark plug wires a year or so ago. One of them recently went bad so I called the company to get it warrantied. Boy what a hassle. Unbelievable how hard it is to be able to speak to a real person. Tried email, no response after a week. Finally was able to speak with a real person and was told, "must have proof of purchase". Told them I didn't have a receipt, but had sent in the product registration card when I purchased the wires. Then I was told, "we don't have that information". Apparently the company was sold, but they conveniently did not transfer the customer product information to the new folks.
I'll never purchase another thing from Jacobs. Probably a good product, but the customer service is poor.
