My name is Daniel and I live in California. I am 15 years old and am in 9th grade. I am 6'4" and weigh 182 pounds, with facial hair coming in strong..............:rocking: I live with my parents who have been married for 16 years, and I have two brothers + one sister (all older than me). I am in a home school program and will be graduating from HS in 2.5 years. I either want to be a mechanic or a contractor, I am not sure though. Until then, I will continue to work hard to graduate from HS which is pointless. I work on weekends for people from my church, and have learned allot. I do not have a girlfriend, but at least I manage to save money in doing so (Summer>18 who goes to my church--we have a thing for each other.) :D I always go for the older women. I enjoy vehicles in general, but especially trucks and sports cars. That is some information about me. Any questions---just reply. :)

Glad to have you on the boards.
Words of advise graduating from HS is far from pointless. Try to get as much as you can and then some. You wish you did in another 10 to 15 years.

Thanks for the advice HP409SS. Our education system in California is controlled by Democrats as is the entire state. I know I have to at least graduate from HS to get somewhere, but college is a must in today's world. Half of this crap I am being taught is not related to the real-world in any terms...........some math practices for instance, are ancient history. Yet I am forced to waste my time learning a concept I will never use. Instead of teaching our kids a bunch of crap, give them the advanced skills needed to survive and excell in the world today. I could go on all today, but I will stop now. Just my view on the subject. :)
P.S.-Our education system should be like France's---after you graduate from middle school, you are given the choice to continue on to HS, or go directly to college.............that is an education system that has understandable reasoning behind it. :)

Low, I can see what your saying about ancient schooling. But, it is nice to know things other people don't. Plus things like geometry are still used today often.

I understand that it is nice when you know a concept or other deal that very few people know. But it should be my choice as to what I need to know. The government believes every child needs to know all this crap. If it does not relate to real-world circumstances and will not be used---why waste the time teaching it. That is why I like what France does. If you want to be in a career field that requires extensive math skills, you need to learn it. If I want to become a mechanic, I need to know the advanced skills of decimals---my brother said decimals is the standard of mechanics. The list goes on..................I agree children need to know the basics of math (multiplying, dividing, subtracting, adding, and basic algebra.) Of course we want our future generation to know how to write and spell correctly as well. The darn Democrats are taking advantage to take our freedom away..........from relying on them for health care............to making it illegal to smoke in a bar (it should be the owners decision.) There are so many petty laws that are being established, we need to get back to the basics of the Constitution. Sorry, I needed to vent. :D
P.S.-I can not stand Tom Da****e! :cussing:

Thanks Mark! I have learned allot in the few short months I have been a member here. If it weren't for 1badgmc and 5-8Chevy, I would not have ordered components for a 5/7" drop. The site is awesome and I will continue to promote this site in any way possible---I don't have a sticker yet. But give me a few months and I will be sporting a FS sticker. :D
