Fist time waxing!

Well today after school at about 5 i started cleaning my truck and then Polished the chrome with Turtle Wax Chrome Polish and rust remover. I didnt reall notice to much with that but i think most of it was in good shape anyways and all ready shiny. Then i went into waxing I applied Mothers Gold Paste clearcoat wax. I started in one corner and aplied it all the way around the Truck. After i was done with that I Buffed it with an old teeshirt. Then turned it inside out and rebuffed it. Then i buffed it one more time with a clean teeshirt. I didnt really take my time kind or a quick wax but let me tell you it worked great! It shined it up just like it was new paint, maybe even better! I love it. Then I apllied some mothers tire wet witch i also loved. All in all, even for below recomended tempretures and amatures first time waxing, these products looked great and went smoothly, I highly recomened these products. I finished around 9.

i have yet to see a wax that beats a new paint job!
but i know what you mean, it sounds like you did a good job waxing that bad boy!
you`ll get a better shine if you buff your car with a orbitor or buffer and the wax to get rid off your swirl marks.

But also I would like to add that instead of a shirt I would get a 100% cotton terrycloth towl from walmart.

3m detailing cloths are very good too but are only sold to professional detailers. if you could get your hands on some you would never go back to t shirts or terry cloths.
