Cener console lid ??

I was walking by a new 03 Chevy the other day and noticed that they changed the center console lid on the trucks with bucket seats. I was wondering if any one knows if the new lid will work on my 01. The new lid is deeper and has rubber on it to keep things from sliding around. It may not even be close I only caught a glimpse of it.

yeah, I thought it would be cool to have that lid too so stuff didnt slid off all the time. It appears to be about the same size - I didnt get to see it up close, jsut by peeking through the window. Hmmm, guess I need to stop by the dealer for a closer look :D

I would be really curious to see if the lid actually fits and lines up correctly. the colors should still be the same though right?
