I have a '97 Tahoe LT, mine was missing the cargo cover thingy
A freind noticed, and said I could have the one that came out of his 2000 limited, Went to install it and it's seems like it's too narrow!
is there a palstic clip on end piece that makes up the gap or does the 2000 limited have different rear interior panels? GM has a tendancy to keep things the same or at least they used to
Any input appreciated ...............................Don

 I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. That's weird.

Its because the panels on the side are different. The newer models stick out farther than the olders ones.

In 2000 you could get 2 versions of the Tahoe that were still the old bodystyle; the Tahoe Limited (2wd) and the Tahoe Z71 (4wd). So the Tahoe Limited he's talking about IS the older bodystyle just like his '97.

I agree but the panels come out more past the opening. They have a ledge at the top of them instead of the slope and there are 3 or 4 vent cut outs at the rear of the panels. I think this is right or I could just be smokin crack. I look for a pic to show you. I believe the blue tahoe in truckin or sport truck a few months back had it. The all blue tahoe with a denali front end and ugly 20 inch Arelli's

Rear Air Conditioning. It's installed the passenger-side rear quarter panel well and the ductwork goes to the ceiling through an enlarged C-pillar facade.
Your '97 does not have it. Most 98, all 99 and all 2000 4-Door OBS Tahoes and Yukons have rear air.

The click of death visited me right after i posted this? hard drive went bye bye, so i'm just now up and running again.
BTW you guys are right, the 2000 limited had rear air, So I've got a package concealer panel for a 2000 with rear air. I was kinda bummed when I noticed mine had no rear air But WTF no one ever rides back there anyway ! thanks........... Don

So did the 2 door Tahoe's (97-99) with the spare in the rear cargo area even have a pull out cargo cover? If yes what did it look like? Got pics?
