spark plug problem

i was changing the plugs in my 00 silverado to NGK TR55 and got 7 of them in with no problem. then the number 8 cylinder (passenger side closest to the firewall) it wont go in, might be a little stripped. any tips on how to get it in with out messing it up more??

You can use a tool what they call a spark plug thread chaser. there are two end to it for two size plugs. there is a hex in the middle so you can turn it. Also, did you look at the plug you tried to put it? The threads could be messed up on it. good luck!
