View Full Version : part number for headliner,90 Ext cab? halffastcustoms 04-19-2003, 05:28 PM looking for part # and prices. anyone have it? yescalade 04-20-2003, 03:16 AM If your just looking to replace the material, and your backing is still good. Run down to your local Fabric store and buy the material of your choice/color, and some contact cement. Pull your headliner out, and complete strip all the material, and foam off of it. You can use rough sandpaper, or a brillo pad, and clean it all off. And if you want you can use some thin foam (also avail. at the fabric store) and cut out a design like flames or a tribal patern and glue it to your backing with the contact cement. After about 15-20 min, you can apply the contact cement to the whole backing and start laying you fabric. Once you are done, reinstall it and enjoy your new found skill. Good Luck halffastcustoms 04-20-2003, 08:14 AM the backing is trashed, the guy who had the truck mounted some extra over head lights so it has some extra holes in it yescalade 04-20-2003, 12:27 PM I dont know, but have you tried to find a rebuildable one at the junk yard? It will be alot cheaper than going to the stealer. They are expensive. How bad is your headliner. Can you patch it up. Fiber glass works good. Let me know i can give you a few tips and tricks for fiberglass work. Fiberglass is cheap and easy to work with, plus its light. All you need to do is make sure you dont have andy rips in the headliner, and aslong as the holes arent huge it will most likely work. Got any pics? Let me check it out. vBulletin v3.5.1, Copyright ©2000-2008, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
