It's not stainless or aluminized so it'll rust. I'd say it's a nice budget system. A lot of people on here will recommend that you take your ride to a local shop...they will more likely be an overall better value. Cameron scrapin' 04-19-2003, 10:03 PM Are you refering to the Thrush system on page 55 of the new catalog? jspx_22 04-19-2003, 10:26 PM no the one on page 335 scrapin' 04-19-2003, 10:29 PM Hmm...I missed that one, not bad from the description given. Not a bad price either....:D 454ss 04-19-2003, 10:41 PM Summit uses walker mufflers which is the same as dynomax, they are good systems and the price is right. fastredgmc 04-20-2003, 12:54 AM I had that system and the tail pipes didnt fit at all, the pasenger side one was right but the driver side hit the shock then bent around and actally came out off center i say get one custom made with the muflers you want. jspx_22 04-20-2003, 08:24 PM I had that system and the tail pipes didnt fit at all, the pasenger side one was right but the driver side hit the shock then bent around and actally came out off center i say get one custom made with the muflers you want. Has anyone else had that problem on this exhaust OneFaastC10 04-20-2003, 11:59 PM i bought one of their kits for my '93, and didnt have any problems with it at all, that werent my fault. its a universal kit, so you have to trim it to fit (the center pipe, before the muffler) i put a 350 y-pipe on and clamped the head pipe directly to it, and ran with just the mufflers for a few weeks, thinking i'll take it apart, trim it, and install the tailpipes when i have time. needless to say, it wont come apart and the tailpipes didnt fit right. i took it to my local muffler shop and had 2 1/2" tails and 3 1/2" slash tips installed. sounds great! vBulletin v3.5.1, Copyright ©2000-2008, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
