film on my wheels

i have chrome modera wheels on my truck and there is some kind of a film on them. i have tried never dull, mothers chrome polish, and brasso. what should i do to get this off.

The stain might be a defect in the chrome since you tried all those polishes and it didn't come out, they all work pretty good.

BTW would a really fine steel wool help, or would that scratch them all to hell

well i talked to one of m friends at at show today and he said to get some mothers mag and aluminum polish. it worked like a charm. not my wheels are :bling:. i was gonna take some pics but my dig cam's batteries are dead, and i dont have any more
