What year? I assume your meaning a triangulated 4-link. Now as far as crossmembers go...I'm also going to assume you mean the gas tank crossmember?

Given those assumptions most are going to tell you that a triangulated 4-link is a bad idea for an fsc....but if you already have it you could make it work...

lol, im sorry. its a '90 ext cab long bed. I did write that in kinda of a hurry. anyway I just need to know if anyone has installed a foward triangulated four link in there fullsive chevy. and if they have if they had to notch thier xmember for thier 4 link to clear thier driveshaft. it wouldnt be a big deal but right now my front is sitting stock hight while im trying to put the back together so I have no idea what my driveshaft is going to do when everything is laying down. if any body can give me some advice i would appreciate it. and if any one is really motivated can they tell me how much room they have between thier bed floor and thier driveshaft about 35" from thier rear axel when the truck is all the way down??

As far as the tri 4 being a bad idea, it was the only practical way I could think of running a lever setup, 2 links suck for daily drivers and if I used a parrallel 4 link like most do with the panhard bar the rear axel would slide like 1/2 a foot out when the truck was all the way up. the only problems that i have heard with the tri 4 is that you have to do something with the gas tank, thats no big deal I think it looks good in the bed. and the fact that you cant weld to the pumpkin Im just going to use a xmember and run my top bars backwards you know what I mean so it makes an arrow that points towards the front instead of towards the back. anyway. if anybody can offer any advice id be much obliged.
