Im thinking of removing my tailgate emblem on my 91 and its one of the big black strips with the gold lettered chevrolet on it...after I do this though I know the paint will look newer and probably a lil darker then the paint thats been exposed...how do you recomend I "blend" the paint or make it so you cant see teh differance?>?> Thanks- JAson

My little "gmc" emblem was lighter underneath it when i pulled it off the other day. I just used some 3m perfect-it on the area and it blended in really nicely :D
should work for a larger area as well, just do the entire gate a few times and it should start matching up pretty nicely!

And if that doesn't work you need color sand and buff the tailgate to make it match. Even if your paint has faded, buffing will bring back the shine.
