last night i was talking with some friends. they got me worried about doing the belltech spindles, cause it flips the ball joint. i guess it never occured to me that when you do this, all of the weight of the vehicle is on the taper, and the nut that holds the ball joint on. is this a big worry, you think it could bust apart?

I would stay away from belltech completely with your truck, and go with a 2" lower control arm from DJM ;)

I don't know much about the belltechs, but i do know they will ruin your turning radius

i know about the turning radius, i aint scared, all my previous trucks werent made for handling, so why should this one?

You will hate those spindles.....if your willing to use inferior parts to drop your truck than there isn't much I can do so......

Anyhow, to answer your questions the ball joint thing is not a concern. It's just fine. Although, I am tempted to tell you something bad about it just so you don't use those BellTech spindles.

I'll be nice and just answer the ? though:D

A turning radius is a convenience that you are probably not realizing how nice an option it is until you lose it and don't have it anymore.
