Leafs?

Hey, i heard you cna lower your own truck 4" in the back by cuttign something and using your own leafs. Stock leafs are good? is this possible??

1990 gmc 350 5.7 reg cab??

Don't remove any springs, you will get nothing but axle warp...and the truck won't ride or handle good any more....what you can do with your stock leafs is have them de-arched about 4" by a spring shop, not sure on the price in your area but it's a little cheaper then buying the lowered leafs, so you do save some money.
