Detail Questions!! HELP!!!

Alright I decided this weekend to get a clay bar and maybe the mothers 3 step wax stuff. I am TOTALLY new to this whole making ur car shine thing, haha, andI dont really know what techniques are good or what order to do....like i know clay bar first then.....wax?polish?swirl? I dunno just any info u can give me on teh process of detailingf the car would be GREAT! thanks- JAson

OK here is what you want to do.

First wash your truck. Then rinse the bucket and add new soap. With a wash mit get one section of your truck soapy (fender or half the hood) and then clay it. Once the surface is smooth then rise the soap off and do a new section. Make sure to keep the truck wet the entire time. When you rinse the soap off, get the rest of the truck wet again. After you clay the truck then you want to use compund and buff out the truck. I take it you are going to do it by hand. Then I would probably wash the truck off again to get all the crap off. Then you want to do the swirl remover and then wax it. That should be it.
