i was wondering how everyone cleans their wheel wells and frames for shows. i always pressure wash it and then i spray a bunch of STP son of a gun tire foam in the wheel wells and all over the frame. it works great looks like brand new.:D

good idea... it wont fade it?

im planning to sandblast my frame and re-paint it flat black, maybe use underbody coat this time instead of some quick rustoleum spray.

my advice for the frame would be some sort of smooth, gloss or semi gloss finish. a rouch finish like what comes from the factory is hard to clean, a smooth surface can be wiped easily though and isnt porous to hold dirt. i hear POR--15 is excellent, $$$ but excellent, then maybe clear coat it i dunno. i need to do mine this summer

true, i never thought of it holding mud because it had a rougher finish but it makes sense

Whatever you do don't use Engine Bright Engine Degreaser. It stripped all the paint off my frame. :( I did it the day of Dustoff and had to frantically repaint my frame with Rubberized undercoating. It looks good now though.
