I had bought an SCU2000 speed O recal. for summit racing (they are great). It should fix my shifting lag.

At only $135 it was a much cheaper way to go over the Hypertech. So I asked around and heard that it can damage your trans. "making it not worth the $200 savings. So like any guy I went to the big guys for there take on it. here is the great tech support that JET gave. After they told me it's the install that can cause damage...

This is the Question that I asked of Jet Chip Tech support.

Question> What problems should I look for during the install and operation of the SCU2000?
Is there any tips that you have, I heard "it overloads the pressure solenoids and the tranny burns up all the clutches" is this possible.

This is the great advice that they gave me...

Answer>Yes, it is possible. IF the unit is not set correctly or installed correctly.
