well today i started detailing my truck, washed it then dried her off and put her in the garage outta the sun. i bought some 3-step paint cleaner, polish and im using a different wax, but it was really sunny today. i had to wash it, but i ended up with some water spots. between the clay bar, paint cleaner and polish, then wax should that take out all my water spots? thanks

also how many coats of each step would you recommend? ie like 1 coat of paint cleaner, 2 of polish 2 of wax?

The clay bar should remove the water spots. If not...try rubbing them with the cleaner. Dont wax till they are out or you will "seal' them in with the wax. If the cleaner/polish won't take them out...try a swirl remover, then polish.

You should only polish till your happy with the results and then add a coat of wax.

well i tried it, worked wonders. i washed yesterday, then clay'd today followed by the paint cleaner and paint polish, then a coat of wax, polished all the chrome and am still wondering abou how to shine up my alum clear coated wheels. other than the wheels it looks amazing, whole new truck

To polish your clear coated wheels get one of those small buffing wheels you can put on an electric drill. Get some compound and go to town. Once you are happy with the shine put about 5 coats of wax and you will be good to go.
