Hi! Um, I dont have a Chevy truck so I'm feeling kind of uncomfortable. But I am saving for an engine swap that will put some Chevy power in my rig, does that count? Thanks to Rootbreaker for introducing the site. I am hoping to learn a lot here and maybe one day contribute to this site!

Well I was torn for a while between the Chevy 4.3 V6 and a 350SB, but it looks as the 4.3 will be the motor of choice. My next dilemma was wether to run it carbed or injected. I decided on injected because it will run better for me off road. It was a hard choice cause I looooove carbs. I still might go with a Holley Truck Avenger, well see. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

My thoughts exactly! This tiny 3.0 is seriously killing me. I put a K&N filter charger on it, Dynomax exhaust, headers....it's just too small. I cant wait to get the 4.3 in there!
And thanks for the welcome everybody!
