I really want to run true duals on my '95 2 door Yukon, but the driver side seems so cramped over the rear axle. The shock is mounted in the way, so is the axle bumpstop, and the gas tank doesn't help. Is there anybody who makes a good set-up for this? Does anybody know of any good tricks to get everything to fit without getting in the way?

is the gas tank on your model in teh rear or on the side?

exhaust shops have to custom make true duals. go to some shops and get estimates. if they deserve your money they will know how to do it, and do it right.

ask them how they would do it. then come back and let us know.

thats how i would do things if i were getting duals.

The gas tank is big, and right in the middle of the rear (in my way). I figure only the 2 door Yukon/Tahoe's have this problem, cuz usually trucks have the gas tank on the side, and just a spare tire in the rear.
A lot of shops around here avoid running duals, because they don't want to be involved in disrupting the "if it came with one cat, it has to stay with one cat" law :(
I don't mind welding up some of my own pipes, but I was curious if there's any better way to route them thru that tight area without causing problems.
