I'm thinking of getting a louder exhaust. i currently have the 22" and at first I was happy with it. But I'm sick and tired of being drowned out by other trucks!!! I want something I can hear at idle. I s the 14" too loud? Is the 14" comparable to the 50 series flowmaster. My friend has a 50 series that sounds pretty good but I'd like to stick with a magnaflow.

The smaller the muffler the louder the sound.

E<breve>?|?the 6" round body that is 14" long with 3" pipe. I love mine. I even enjoy it better than when I ran a straight 3" pipe. I need to get a better audio clip but maybe this will help for now. :D

If you want a newer...better sound clip just let me know. It will give me a reason to do it again. :D

Okay, I want a newer... better sound clip! There's your motivation.

Sounds awesome! :rocking: Is there any resonance cruising speed? I have the 22" exhaust too and also wanted to go a little louder. Right now, it is a 1 in 2 out. Would a 2 in 2 out be better/louder?

Interior noise is quite suttle at cruising speed. It's less than when I had my 3" 40 series flowmaster, but when you stomp the throttle...oh it sounds so sweet. To hell with flowmasters :D

Now if you like it loud, check out when I yanked out the muffler.

You'll need quicktime to view the movie clip.

14" it is. Good thing Fathers day is coming up. I don't know about the 6" round body it might be a little too loud. But I figure the 5X8 oval body would be a little quieter. Thanks for the sound clips. If I was single or had another family vehicle I would be all over that 6" round body.

Actually it's not that loud in the cab. When I pop off a couple of new clips tonight...I'll try to get an interior sound clip as well. Although you'll probably just hear the damn flex fan.
