Magnaflows

Are magnaflow mufflers louder than borla pro xs mufflers?I have never heard magnaflows on a truck but I know a lot of you guys have them.

Magnaflow...no question. I was thinking about getting a borla, and had nothing but bad replies over at sportruck.com. Now that I have a magnaflow...I LOVE IT. Best bang for the buck I think.

Here's a bad sound clip and most likely I'll be making a new one tomorrow (I just added some new goodies), so keep an I eye out.

This is on an '89 305 with headers/catco cat/single 3" exhaust with a 6" round 14" body magnaflow muffler. Enjoy :D

Man that sounds bad ***.I love the tone that has.Is your magnaflows aluminized or stainless?How much did you pay for that muffler?I have true dual exhaust so I know mine would not be that loud.Is there a magnaflow muffler like yours but a smaller shorter in length so I could have mine almost as loud as yours.Ive got hedman hedders but my truck is not that loud,I wish it was though.Do you think mine would be loud with your muffler?Again man that sounds so bad ***

Thanks...the aluminum muffler I have was $68 at a local muffler shop. Magnaflow has a 4" round 14" body (http://magnaflow.com/02product/universal/round.htm) muffler and comes in 2.25" and 2.5" piping. This is probably the loudest muffler they have outside of their race series mufflers.

It's been raining like a dog around here so I haven't had a chance to make a new sound clip with out the stinking flex fan humming in the background. She sounds even better now. :D
