the best exhaust for a 5.7 tahoe

What would be the best exhaust for a 5.7 litre tahoe. I have checked on Borla but the prices will rip me a new a$$ hole. Flowmaster!! everyone has it..If anyone could help thanks alot.

ok thanks alot dude. Do you have just the muffler or a full aftercat exhaust. Im looking for them best performance and also a raspy sound.

It's the full catback... It's definitely not raspy though... More deep, mellow, and smooth... If you're looking for a raspy tone go with a Flowmaster, Borla, Dynomax, etc... Anything with baffles will pretty much be raspy.. Any straight through (Magnaflow, PV, Gibson) will be smooth and deep, but not raspy...

Either get a Flowmaster 40 Series ORIGINAL or get a Flowmaster 10 series muffler!

1" bigger exhaust tubing than your running and flows 40 series trust me you will get some sound with larger tubing and flows but if you want it really louder than just run 1" bigger tubing and maybe a 12"glasspak

Borla is straight through, no baffles, just like Magnaflow. :read:

How much is the Borla? Were you looking at the split rear or just the single exit?
