for you guys that have experience with flowmaster I'm wondering which will suite me better the orinal 40 series or the delt flow. I have a magnaflow on now but it's just not loud enough, I want to start it up and hear it pretty good I just don't want a lot of interior noise but will the Delta flow be loud enough? is there a big differnce in exterior noise between the two? thanks for any help

i've got a 40 series delta flow on now, 3" in/out with it dumped before the roll pan. I also had a magnaflow on before hand.
you hear it when you get on it, and you do get a little drone when idling, but it's not to noticeable. at first i didn't feel like it was much different from the magnaflow when i got on it, until i gave my dad the keys and let him do a driveby:devil:

The main difference between the two are interior noise. The delta flow is quiter in the cab. I like my magnaflow alot better than the delta flow 40 that I previously had.
If you want louder make sure to add a set of headers and a free flowing cat. Those make a huge difference in sound! Since you have a good muffler, I would suggest going for the headers...inless of course you already have a set...

I have heard and owned both df and original and the inside noise from the original is not bad at all...If you are going to dump the exhaust get the 40 df if you really dont want any inside noise. I have 4" tips to the back with each muffler under the cabin and it isn't that loud. I actually want louder!
