Decided to go with 4.10 gears front and rear, new or used?

Decided to go with 4.10 gears front and rear...since the engine is out is will be real easy to yank the front diff and take it in the Roland for a swapout...will cost me a good lunch in labor :)

Also this will give me 10% more torque to the rear end and take 10% stress or more off the trans and drive line... With the 32-33" tires this should put me back to where I was with the stock tires with 3.73 gears...what do you guys think?

Roland's also going to rebuild the 14 bolt 9.5" R&P which he has in his stall...freebie as he owes me a favor :)

So I need 4.10 gears for the front 8.25" R&P
And the 14 bolt 9.5" R&P...keep any eye open for me guys...send me an email if you find anything!

If it were me I would go new gears. You never know if the used set was broken in correctly or properly maintained. Its a total safe of mind thing. I would PM tennesse4x4 he can get you deals on gear sets. Let me know how much you got them for cause i m thinking about changing out my gears to 4.10.

I recently just switched out my 4.10's for some 4.88's. I have the 14 bolt 9.5" rear end also. Give me a post back if you are interested.
