I'm in the middle of a stereo project and need some help. I'm looking for paint to match the dark graphite color. Any suggestions?

I've tried the local parts stores and Walmart, but nothing close. What do you guys recommend?

Thanks, Shane

i would suggest talking to a body shop. did you ask the parts person about ordering the right color? some of those part stores can order certain colors of paint.

Go take your truck to any automotive paint supply place, they can pull your paint code, and get you a can of spray to match the color perfect.

Thanks thus far...

None of of part stores catalogs list interior colors, other than basic gray, black, blue, etc.

When I hit up the paint supply house, he said he could try and mix something up that's close, based on finding a chip to match the stock dark graphite, but I was hoping someone on here had done some interior painting, or knew somewhere to get interior paint.

Anyone know a color code for the factory interior color?

FWIW, this is for painting some work I've done on the door panels that I want to blend in.

:iamwithst :kidding: . i agree with GMC350SS. if you take your truck to a Chevy or GMC dealership or a body shop they can look up your interior color code and order the right color in a spray can.
