x pipe

I'm on this exhause performance section reading about all these X pipes and H sections and stuff. From what I understood is that you lost hp breaking that y pipe and making it true duals. I originally wanted to break the y pipe but after being told that I didnt. Can somebody inform me if I was giving wrong info...also where I can find a x pipe set up

I bought my X pipe off ebay -- very nice, its stainless steel. Just put it on, noticed a definite gain in low end, as well as making the sound much cleaner.

Dont even waste time or money on an H-pipe, Just changed my setup from an H to an X-pipe and man what a difference. I have TOG's to 3" to 2-1/2 to the high flow cats to the X to 40 Flows, 2-1/2 to the rear of the truck, Before with the H pipe I had resonance & the thing was LOUD, now with the X-pipe it is more mellow at cruisng speeds & totaly quite in the cab at 65+, no resonance at all, sounds awsome coming down the road. I cant really comment on the increased torque, with the blower I have all I want.

Yea man I wanna get out this truck...maybe get some ideas ;) . My email address is cralarcon@sbcglobal.net . So far I've done all the mods on my truck, but I might have to have my front lowering springs put it cause I cant figure out whats wrong. There 2" bell tech lowering springs. I cant get the truck to drop...I just get positive camber and stuff. But forget that...i refuse to pay somebody to do some work on my truck...so i'll see whats going on

2k you got pics on the way, as far as the springs, have you measured the new ones against the stock springs. They should be shorter, I would give Bell Tech a call they were really helpful with the kit I bought for my truck (4wd Torsion bar front).
