Hey guys, I have a question, and I hope someone really knows the answer to this. I have the dual climate controls in my 03 Silverado, but I wanted to buy the one off of the LT Tahoes and Suburbans. It has a digital display in the middle and 2 seperate knobs instead of sliders. Is this possible and does anyone know what it takes. Here is a small pic of what I want to install:

best thing to do is buy one, and test it, if it works then cool if it doesnt then send/take it back, but if it were me i would assume that the analog controls are way different than the digital controls, well at least the connection in the back are, but you never know till you look.

Talk to Jpendelum about it. I'm sure he can tell you how to do it if it can be done.

It is possible, it can be done.
The C1 (larger) connector on both climate control units are identical.
The C2 (smaller) connectors are completely different, but the C2 connector just goes to various temperature sensors mounted on the HVAC assembly and to the blower motor controller. The wire harness with C2 connector actually plugs into the RH fuse block. From the RH fuse block, a different harness connects to the various temperature sensors. You will also need the roof-mounted temp sensor and harness.

Why would it be roof-mounted? Isnt the digital display showing the inside temperature?

Roof mounted inside, on the headliner. It's the inside temperature sensor that tells the auto climate control what the current temp is inside so it knows whether to heat or cool.
There are also 4 temp sensors on the HVAC box so it knows the temperature of the air coming out of the vents.

I have the part # for the actual unit, do u think it comes with the sensors and all the wiring? Or are there different part #s for that?

Nah, I bet it doesn't come with anything but the control unit itself.
I don't have part #'s for the wiring or sensors or anything, sorry.
You will also need a blower control module to control the blower. I think this 01 module is the same as 03, at least it looks the same from schematics. I don't know about physical mounting.
