yup,

belltech spindles will increase your turning radius...i'd stay away from them. there is a new type of spindle...the kind troll just installed which seem to be much better.

if i was you, i'd just go with lower control arms, since you seem to have them on your mind anyway :naughty:

i have the DJM units and i love them so far :D

The Mcgaughy s spindles are great. They don't increase the turning radius as bad as belltech's do. The ride is better than the control arms IMO. The Djm arms won't hurt your turning at all (this might be important with an extended cab ) The spindles cost me $229 and the DJM arms were $329 . I got them seprately and they were 4 inch, 2 inch might be cheaper.

If you go with the spindles, get the ones for the Tahoe. I was told they are easier to install. You will need at least 17 inch wheels. Stockers won't work. They will hit the lower ball-joint stud.

To answer your question. Belltech puts a turning stop on their spindles for two reasons.

1) so you can still use factory wheel if you want to ( you still have to do some grinding)

2) to keep the brake line from being crushed between the caliper and the upper control arm since it must be flipped upside-down. Normally the caliper goes under the uca when you do a hard turn.

Well cool. Thanks for all the helpful information guys. I was just going to put drop springs...but thats going to give me somewhat of a $@*!# ride. So I'm probably just going to get some of those lowering spindles for a Tahoe :rocking:
