View Full Version : Ball Joint Question IntroWheels 07-02-2003, 02:50 PM hey guys, I have a question for you guys. I was looking at my front suspension and noticed a lot of black gunk on the upper control arm ball joint. I was told by a guy who does airbags that the boot on the Ball Joint was busted. Any reason why this would happen? Im running my bags on the stock UCA's and LCA's. Why do some companies use DJM arms? Also, I dont think I can replace the boot because the Chevy dealer said that with the 99+ Silverados, if u bust the boot on there, you have to replace the arm.
