Ok I plan on getting the 2/4 hotchkiss drop with 1" rear shackles.
I want to know if I can run the rim/tire combo I have now. (came with the truck). Also, will I still be able to put stuff in my bed? I know I shouldn't tow without helper bags correct? I have a:

You say your rim/tire combo came with the truck, but what is it?? Stock wheels/tires? If so, then yes, it'll work. Really, most anything will work with a 2/4. But I'm confused. What's with the 1" shackles? Why do you want a 2/5? Yes, you can still use your bed and you can still tow lighter loads without helpers. When I had my static drop I had BellTech leaf springs out back. I helped a friend move and had a bed full of crap and the truck barely squatted. Hotchkis builds their springs to give you better handling, a nice drop, and yet without killing your load/towing capacities.

sorry, i have 16x? Niche Pultecs. I said they came with the truck cuz the guy who had the truck put them on there. Whats wrong with a 2/5? Its the same thing Demons running. I like the extra 1" in the rear. thanks for the reply on using my bed, thats a relief.

The NBS reg cabs have more then a 2" rake stock. so if you want to lower your ride 2/4 and roll level, you'd want to drop the back an extra inch:read:
