This was a very tough decision... you guys did a great job... I was looking for realism when I voted. Unfortunately the #1 and 10 entries I ruled out because I thought they were too cartoonish.. Now dont get me wrong, they are some sweet chops. I was just leaning towards realism. A futuristic version contest and you guys wouldv'e cleaned up. Even though it had a minor flaw, I chose Number 4. the wheels look good and the paint looked natural. the only Tiny flaw I found was the left over chopping around the back of cab and bed. other than that and it looks sweet. I really hope you guys dont take this to heart. It is meant to be fun, and I am by no means a professional... I just tinker with it...Honorary mention goes to truck 2 with a sweet paintjob. The wheels need a littlework.
and also truck 5, good paint and wheels. Just a bit too saturated for my tastes...

Hope you guys dont take it too serious..

Since I don't really have much of a prize to hand out, what sort of truck would you like me to look for to use in contest #2?


BTW, I added the names of those who participated to the thumbnails for the poll. Good job by everyone! :D :D Let's see if we can get a bigger turnout for the next contest!

Lets see some more lifted trucks in the next contest. I voted for Chuggernauts because he was the only one to go lifted. :D

Thanks for the vote, but lifting is not easy by any means, especially when working with a high resolution shot. In order for it to work right, the best bet is to copy the suspension and wheels from another hi res pic of an already lifted truck sitting at almost exactly the same angle. It took me a few weeks before I found one that was even close enough to use. Even after that, I almost went the other route several times because I started to get tired of tweaking it.

congrats lowdown, great job on that chop. hey chuggernaut, i know the idea of listing the changes made to the chops was suggested, i was just wondering if anyone would be interested in seeing a list of mods, or if the guys who did them provided them. cant wait for the next contest. tom

I think only one person actually submitted a list of mods, but I don't remember who it was.
