Rules are similar to last time, except I'm increasing the max file size from 120kb to 150kb:

Contest is only open to registered FSC members. Staff members may compete.

Entries must be in JPEG format (.jpg extension)

Image size no larger than 800 pixels wide by 600 pixels tall

File size no larger than 150 kilobytes.

Keep in mind that this is a FSC related contest -- entries must not contain nudity, vulgarity or references to drugs or other illegal activities.

Entries must be received by 12:00 AM PST Sunday, August 17th.

Only one entry per person per contest.

Include your FSC username in the subject line of the email carrying your entry.

Pretty much whatever you want to do with it as far as I'm concerned. But judging by the results of the first contest, I'm going to say that it would probably be worthwhile to keep it realistic. :cool:

Mine is almost finished. But I'm not gonna send it in yet cuz I'm gonna make sure it has the least amount of flaws as possible. So far it as actually turned out better than I thought it was going it. I think I might even get 2 votes. :rocking:

I feel like this is going to be some tough comp.. Last time, nobody knew what to do because they didnt know just how far there competition was going to show there skills. Now everybody knows where the "Bar" has been set:D

How about request that everybody submit a list of there chops when they email it to you. Then after the voting is finished and a winner is declared you can post the list when you tell the winner.:read:

im pretty much done too, now I just gotta figure out a way to make it the right size(pixels and kb's) and find a way to make it jpeg. format:D Anyone wanna tell me, i did it in paint, so i think its under img. or whatever format.:D I have no idea how to do that sh!T:(

Bartak -- I'm not sure exactly what software you're using, so if you can at least do a "save as" and change the file extension to either .jpg or .bmp, I'll make sure you're within the limits.

Switch it to JPG. format. :read: That should knock off some of the size.

I dont know how to do that. I have it on paint, so I go "save as", save it, and then it gets saved under bitmap(bmp).

Does it have "All files" on the list? If so select that and just add .jpg to the name of the file...i.e., "contest.jpg"

If you can see this page your computer supports JPEG files. Paint supports JPEG files :read:

I forgot, older versions of Paint don't support JPEG compression. The origional file is BMP so even the old versions of Paint can open it. Just adding ".jpg" to the filename will not give you JPEG compression, sort of like changing ".wav" to ".mp3" wont give you an MP3. You will need to download another program that supports JPEG compression for it to work. Here's the link to a free program that's similar to Paint but it supports JPEG and you can resize the picture. http://www.ab.wakwak.com/~knight/

Bartak -- there's an up grade for paint that will allow you to use jpg's. I might have it here on my computer, but if not I think you can download it from Microsoft... I'll check my computer at work too. If I find it, I'll upload it to my geocities site and give you a link for it.

well I was all planning to do this and was about half way done then I picked up that worm and did a system restore since I had some other issues and I didn't save my pic onto a disk :bawl: there is no way I will get another slopped together and if I did I don't think it would be contest worthy maybe next time.
