Hello, My name is Chris, I'm new to the truck world unless building S-10's@GM counts. Anyway, I just sold my high 11 second 98 m6 Z28 (with plans to build a trailer car)and bought a 2002 5.3 X-cab Silverado. I'd like to do a few mods to the truck but I'm not too sure where I need to start yet. If I can get this thing to run 14.0-14.5 I will extreamly happy. Is it possible?

Yea, I came from LS1.com. Not much use going there if you're a truck guy.
