I bought a CC pan awhile ago, and it didn't come with any hardware or anything, and buldges out at the bottom after i screwed it in at the top with sheet metal screws :( I know it'll look really good flush mounted at the bottom, but how do i go about doing this? Do i need to make my own brackets? Or were there supposed to be hardware shipped with my pan that got left out somehow?
:help: i'm tired of it not looking right from sticking out at the bottom!

You are suppossed to either screw the side of the pan into the lip of the bedside if there is room, or make a bracket. I didnt have room on my 96, so I took some flat metal and made a bracket that holds on the bottom and into a metal lip on the bed.

Well, we went through a time when we either didn't send any hardware or missed a bunch of boxes....We now have the sheet metal screws with each pan.....
Anyway, GMC350ss is right, what you do on the bottom is drill a hole in the pan where the flange on the side is...a little bigger than the self tapping screw you are installing. Then just drill into the bedside flange. I have never seen a bed that needs brackets...but I have heard this from a few folks.....
