Long time viewer, first time poster at FSC. I've been on the Pac Audio performance forum for about 6 months and had a lot of fun and learned a lot of stuff over there. I've been a Chevy fan for a long time. My first chevy was a 68 SS camaro purchased in 1976.
Chevies currently owned are:
1972 Z-28 w/406 sbc M-21 4 speed
1982 C-10 stepside w/355 700r4 3:42's
1988 c1500 5.7 TBI SWB Fleetside bone stock
2000 Tahoe Limited bone stock
I found this site and others while searching for a the right way to help the performance of the 88 tbi without wasting a bunch of money and time. I see the TBI has its limitations but I'll try to work within them, or with some help, stretch them a bit. I've picked up a few parts for the OLD 88 like a set of Thorly full length headers, a four bolt main block, an L98 roller cam and a 454 SS 14 bolt w/3:73 gears. I build my own engines, set up my oun gears and this summer learned how to rebuild/tweak a 700R4 with the help of a friend. I've been elbow deep in chevy for the past 20 years. I see a few of the others from Pacific Audio have found FSC to be a reliable source of information and smiles. Keep on truckin!
