Did I Get DJM? [Archive]

Alright Fellas I have a 01 Reg cab Sierra....Recently I took it to a suspension shop and asked specifically for a 4/6 DJM Calmax Drop and Rear Bags. The price was good compared to others and I know other folks that had a work done there and nothin but good come of it.....My ? is this with the DJM Drop and my application should I have lost any turning radius.....well not only did I lose turning Radius but I lost a lot of it. I need 3 and a 1/2 lanes to flip a bit*h. Before this I didn't need 2 lanes. I did notice that the lower control arm was blue and that they left my upper stock. I was under the impression that the DJM was good for turning radius... is this not true. I am taking it back to have then finish the rear with a 4 link and I want to be able to go in there knowledgeable like....not half cocked. Can I check the part # or sumthin... Any help will help thanks Fellas

hey man, I was under the impression that DJM does not hurt your turning raidus.. may want to check the lower control arm to see if it looks like this http://www.djmsuspension.com/Images/Products/ControlArms/CA2599.gif They may have used Belltech Spindles, which DOES hurt your turning radius. Upper Control arm is optional on the 4/6. Hope this helps and let us know

The DJM parts have a grey hammer finished coat. Pray that it isn't AIM parts on your truck.

You said they are blue...you probably just got hosed...i would call djm and ask them if they sell any of their control arms blue...because i have yet to see blue ones from DJM...also i think that Chassis Tech control arms are blue...IMO they are shit. That picture that matt posted is how the lower and uppercontrol arms are supposed to look like.

yeah...really bad start...they couldn't even get the right control arms...cheap bastards i would mad as hell.

All Chassis tech crap is Blue and I do not believe anyone else does it blue.

If I were you I'd be one pissed motherfu(ker!!!!:mad::cussing: I had a friend who just put some of those crap ChassisTech arms on his truck and sure enough, they're BLUE!!! :eek: You definitely got screwed. I wouldn't drive that truck on those suckers until you get the real DJM stuff put on!:fight:
