---I am planning on gettin me a flowmaster 40 series muffler. I was wondering if a flow 40 single in/dual out would sound good. Also, what is a good place to get the flow 40 muffler. Thanks

In my opinion a pair of 1 in 1 out mufflers would sound better but the 1 in 2 out mufflers still sound pretty good.

What are the differences from what I want to what your talking about? Example....Loudness? Thanks

From the ones that I have personally heard the dual muffler setups tend to be louder than the single in dual outs, some other people may have different opions, but I have heard both setups on the 5.3's and the dual mufflers was louder and this was on a Flowmaster 40 setup....

I had dual 40 series non elta flow into tundowns, and they sounded fuikin' mean!!!

You'll be fine just remember the less pipe the exaust flows through the louder it will be,you'll also have less back pressure and more horse power:D I have the flowmaster 1 in 2 out and I dumped out in front of the back tire.:cool: If your truck is to low you may not have this option:bawl:

---Well, I am having mine dumped right BEHIND the rear tire. I am just worried that it won't be loud enough.....just reassure me that it will be louder than stock.......:D

Sup if anyone knows/wamts a 50 series single in/dual out I may be gettin me a 40 series like I had on my 00' silverado w/ the 4.8! Make an offer if ya want it. I only had it on about 4-5 months....sounds great but I need rumble even at idle LOL! If no-one wants it on here I will prob. sell it on ebay! Just let me know Its still on my truck right now.....haha LOL. I have a video camera with a USB cable maybe I could do sound looks that way...?Just let me know Layte! Adam
