They are straight tube looking mufflers that have glass baffling inside them. Most people don't like them because they are too loud. I had some on my truck on the first exhaust setup that I put on my truck, and they sounded badass you just couldn't carrly on much of a conversation..., but I liked it...

My cuz has some on his 95 305 w/ true duals and no cats. It sounds pretty good until the farting kicks in.:D

I would say go with the glasspacks if your looking for a loud mean sound. I have 2 18" glasspacks in my exhaust and sounds awesome. Highly recommended on my part.

I couldn't of said it any better if i came out of my own mouth. Lol. I ran glasspacks on my some of my older pickups I had in the past. My 1994 Chevy K1500 with a 350 tbi had a 24" cherry bomb installed on it just to keep the peace with the county cops. After about 6 months it was pretty much strait pipe again. I sold the pickup last fall in favor of a 1998 K1500 with the 350 vortec. I had strait pipe on it again for about a month when I just got tired of all that noise. I installed a Vortex V-baffle (similer to a flowmaster, and made by the same people that gave us the good old cherry bomb), and I love it. Gained a whole bunch of performance, plus got a great sound that makes my pickup sound more like a camaro SS. Some times I find myself missing that strait pipe roar when another kid in town barks it off the stoplight. But when it comes time to race I havn't been beaten by a strait piped, or glasspacked pickup of the same generation yet.
