Pro Comp Xterrains

My buddy just got rid of his xterrains, 35x12.50R16. He hated them, they did bad in the mud and they weren't too quiet. The sidewalls tore up easily and the tire wore quickly. A recent mud tire test in Petersons but the Xterrain in last. Worst in mud! They were running up against the BFG M/T, Super Swamper Trxus M/T, Baja Claw, and the Super Swamper TSL.

I have the xterrains and I too have found them to wear quickly. However, their on-road manners are quite good and I have found them to be quite sturdy. The main dislike I have is that after a short while, the sipes that are built in are worn down to nothing, leaving you with a tire just as good as any MT. They arent really loud but they make noise.
