only problem i've heard about on the new Alpines is that the sub preout won't do 4V at all. maxes out at 2 something i think. this would be hardly noticeable, would just piss me off to spend all that bank on an overrated product.

i have a 9815 in my vette.....it is a very nice deck once you learn how to work it...it has so many functions it is unreal....also you can go to alpine.com and load all your EQ and Xover settings to a CD-r so you never have to reset all of them if you lose battery power.......very nice deck for the money:whore: :whore:

I don't know about the newest models out, but I will buy nothing but ALPINE or a select few others. I have tried all of them through the years and Alpine has performed the best the longest.
I had a 7915 in 1990 ish. I sold it in like 92 and the guy I sold it to still uses it. NEVER a problem. I was in a truck that rolled and the alpine CD player was still kicking. I think Alpine has one of the best antiskip buffers around(even before the buffer technology they were very hard to make skip). Seemed like FM reception was always a little better too.
Just my opinion that if you buy and Alpine your probably going to like it.

can't really go wrong with an Alpine.
