my parents bought a '98 LX automatic just like that and they're awesome cars..my '98 is an EX coupe 5-speed..guaranteed 26mpg+ no matter how hard you drive it

yea my sister had a 97 lx also, drove it from cali to chicago and back a few times and sold it to my grandparents still runs great to this day.

mostly just been buying/selling to get my self back into a nice truck

If you were closer and i had the money i'd jump on it. Nice car, maybe not up this forums alley though, but i had a 97 EX sedan (canadian) which meant i got everything an EX has, minus the D16Y8 vtec engine.

With a few simple cheap mods i had it running fantastic, handled like mental and was just a fun car to drive. They are not the best cars ever, but for what they are, you can't get much better. It's the only japanese economy car i'd ever spend money on.

def true on the gm truck part. if i could find decent priced gm trucks i would be all over them! its hard to find that lately. i have had gm trucks that have had anywhere from 90-215k miles all ran great.

I live in Happy Valley Goose Bay, Labrador. If you've ever flown overseas then there is a good chance that you're plane stopped here to refuel.

i have flown to hawaii and germany, but never stopped to refuel. Went to Europe from New Jersey direct and to Hawaii from Phoenix direct!

If you look at the google map of happy valley again. you can follow the only road out of town and out of the province is about 550kms long. about 450kms of it is dirt/gravel road.

It's the worst thing about buying any vehicle outside of here that's not a truck. Most cars would go through hell to come back here. Which is why my 97 was sold in halifax, scrapped and probably used to build a ricer car. I had alot of good parts and work put into it.

So unfortunately, i don't think i could make it back here in one piece :P it's a very nice car though and wish you the best of luck with the sale
