For Sale: Customized 97 Chevy Z71

I am going to have to part with my 97 Chevy Z71 unfortunately even though I have put a ton of work into it. The truck is a 1997 Chevy K1500 Z71 with Silverado Trim. The truck is red and has about 155k on it with a brand new rear main seal, brand new fuel pump, and new coolant coupling. I have taken very good care of it besides 2 scratches I have done. One of them is on the bed and isnt too noticable because its tiny, but its is threw the paint. The second is in the passenger side door and has removed the paint and put a nice dent in the door there also (hidden rock ran into me). The truck is mechanically sound and runs GREAT. It has the 5.7L V8 in it which I believe this is the last 5.7L they made. I have taken great care of it and all the miles I have put on it in my ownership have been mainly highway miles. A/C works great and the truck is VERY quiet inside with the sound deadener.

Modifications are as described:

Perimeter Billet Grille Insert
Clear Corners
Removed Rubber Molding
Powerslot Slotted Rotors
Steel Braided Brake Lines (Front and Back)
Powerslot Brake Pads
Tinted Front Windows to Match Factory Rear Tint (35% I think)
CodeAlarm Alarm System (upgradable to remote start)
Leatherseats.com Logos on backglass (heh... can be removed)
32" All-Terrain Tires
Gray and Black Custom Leather Interior
150 square feet of B-Quiet sound deadener
Brand New Black Carpet to replace the dirt factory Gray Carpet
Boston Acoustic Front Mids and Tweeters
Eclipse Rear Speakers (Mid/Tweeter combo)
Door panels recovered in same Gray/Black two-tone theme

I think that is all, but I will try to put up pictures showing the truck and interior below this post. Over $3000 in aftermarket work on the truck. $2000+ of that money being just in the interior. I believe the truck books for $9925 in the NADA.

Asking price is $9200 OBO. If you have any questions please feel free to call me at 405-414-3937.

Dayum....too bad this wasn't a few years ago when I bought my 97. Your truck is hella nicer than mine + it's 4x4 and cheaper than I paid. I know that the resale was higher a couple years ago, but someone is still getting a helluva deal. BTW, why are you selling....if you don't mind me asking?

HAHA thanks guys. Basically selling because its a secondary vehicle right now and its only driven occasionally by whoever needs the truck for the day. I decided I didnt want to spend the money on monthly payments and insurance. I kinna wish it was just paid off and I could keep it around with Recreational Vehicle insurance, but I still owe money on it so I have to have full coverage.

Thats basically why... wish I could finish all the plans I have for it, but with the cash from selling it would be nice to pay off some credit cards. I will probably end up buying another Chevy in a few years. I cycle threw them. Used to have a two door 92 Chevy Blazer with 33s, but rolled that sucker the day before I was going to sell it to a guy.

They are the handy work of the company I work for along with a friend of mine out in Los Angeles. One of the best trimmers in the industry that I know of.

I will have to take some more. The only ones I have are really old and dont represent the truck very well at all. The main things you would notice that arent stock on the truck is the rubber moldings are gone. The Backglass has a big Leatherseats.com logo. The grill has a polished perimeter grille with clear corners. I will get some pictures ASAP.

I got it from Leatherseats.com, I work for them. It runs right around $200 in pretty much any color.

Thanks ChevyMan02. I am guessing you mean lowering when you said dropped it and no... I didnt drop it at all. It is basically stock height just which some Bilstein gas shock front and rear. The tires are 2 sizes bigger than factory so it sits an inch or two taller than OEM. The carpet is right around $200 and shipping is probably only $15-$20 bucks.
