BEWARE Ordering a CORSA Exhaust from autopartswarehouse.com
Decided on a CORSA side exit sport exhaust and after much research I found this site, called on Saturday, placed an order over the phone and was assured by the salesperson that my CORSA exhaust would be shipped first thing Monday morning. I knew the great price and fast free shipping were to good to be true.

http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/bi...tem+-+%2314259

Well after numerous phone calls to customer service to people I can barely understand, I have no information regarding my order. First I was told that they were trying to locate the part in one of their 3-4 warehouses. Then I was told the part was found and being shipped from their Ca warehouse. Then I was told the tracking info would be emailed to me within 24 hrs. Well..24 hours came and went and no tracking number. Called them tonight, even made my G/F call to see if she could get anywhere, she can be intimidating on the phone, all I do is yell and get frustrated, so she got on the phone to get some answers, spoke to a supervisor, and they STILL don't have any info for me. Supervisor claims it's still in processing. At this point I'm ready to cancel the order since I already lost 4-5 days with this stupid order with these dumb jackasses. Figure I would give them one more day, but I have a funny feeling it's still not going to be shipped. I have no faith in these clowns.

Anyone ever order an exhaust from here, or even anything from this place?

Sorry to hear that man. I hope you get ur exhaust system. That's a pretty good price with the free shipping. I've always ordered my stuff off ebay and have had pretty good luck.

The SI/DO I've been looking at costs around $800-900 at Autoparts Wharehouse, but I've been able to find the exact same one on Ebay for $650.

Corsa isn't cheap, but the quality is worth the extra money IMO. In the past few years the most important lesson I have learned is do it right the first time.

That isn't a bad price. I was looking for #14272 (SI/DO RCSB) and the price ranged from $900-$1100

I started looking on ebay a bit and found a guy selling the same exact kit for $700 shipped.

I'm sure if you do a bit of searching on ebay you will find an even better price. I can send you the link to the seller's store once I get off work.

I can't view ebay at work...but at least they don't block FSC

I don't know, I didn't make up the price. But supposedly this muffler is designed so it has little to no drone with these new engines. Plus, I believe the entire exhaust, muffler is polished T-304 s/s. And for me I will make a few $ back, becuase I am NOT using the dual slash cut tip that comes with it, so I will be able to turn around and sell that on ebay. The tips are NOT welded on from the factory, which makes life easier/cleaner when it comes time to put on a different tip without the need to cut the one that came with it off.

Take a look at what you get vs. the price. Corsa exhausts aren't that hot. You can get a better exhaust for cheaper than that.

Re: BEWARE Ordering a CORSA Exhaust from autopartswarehouse.com
It's all a matter of opinion and preference. I don't want anything too loud, and I've heard the Magnaflow and Flowmaster are really loud. So, I think the Corsa will be just what I want/need.

I found one on ebay for $710 shipped. And since I had play money in my ebay account from things I sold, it makes sense for me to use that money to buy it. So, if I get $75 for the slash cut tip on ebay, the system would have cost me around $635, nothing wrong with that. Yeah, there are some on ebay for less, but they'e NOT for my year truck, seems like exhausts for the older trucks are much less..people are smart I guess..the NNBS trucks are obviously hotter right now cause they're newer.

Well, once I get my exhaust ket installed, I will post a video clip to show everyone why I spent $700 on my exhaust.

Magnaflows are extremely quiet, sound like a stock corvette and flowmaster makes serveral different versions that are not loud at all. Im not saying you should have bought something else, hell its your truck so get what makes you happy. I am just curious as to what makes it so much more expensive.

Anyway aside from all that...did you ever get an email confirming the delivery?

Re: BEWARE Ordering a CORSA Exhaust from autopartswarehouse.com
As you can see Corsa does not use any baffles, or any steel wool / noise dampening material to "muffle" the exhaust noise. Instead they cancel a sound wave with an inverted sound wave so you have no resonating/drone when you're cruising.

On top of that, as previously stated, all kits are made of T-304 SS, are hand welded in shop, have a lifetime warranty, and above all, are dynoed to give excellent performance improvements.

Personally, I love the sound of Corsa, and I think the HIGH QUALITY is worth the extra $100-$200 you will pay compared to all the other brands out there.

This is information on their RSC design
