2003 envoy
2003 GMC envoy
this vehicle was bought last month for my wife. we are going to be starting a family soon soo.... these features are what we liked and what helped make our decision. standard: on-star (i wanted a vehicle with this) full time AWD with a transfer case so it can also be shifted into 4high or 4low or 2wd tow package tranny cooler options 3.42 axle ratio locking diff bose system with in dash 6 disc changer it has more stuff standard and optional but these are the things that sold us. this SUV has one of the nicest/smoothest rides that we have had in an SUV. possible due to the bilstein shocks. the stereo is absolutely incredible. it fills the vehicle with music that comes alive. this is the type of sound i wish i could duplicate in my 95 fullsize. the interior does not have the cheap plastic-y look that GM is famous (infamous?) for. It looks and feels like something ALOT more expensive, BMWish? the engine is an I-6. it is super smooth, it accelerates the vehicle very quickly to 60 although it does feel like it lacks off the line torque. (but this comes from me driving a 95 with a 5.7 and 3.73 gears.) BUT in an accelleration test from 0-60 it was nose to nose with the envoy pulling ahead the closer we got to 60. the engine does not sound buzzy, it sounds very quiet and refined. the 4 wheel drive system is operated by a dial, with a lite that indicates what mode it is in. in AWD it could climb approx 20feet up a 30 degree sand hill approx 40 feet high with the 4 high it made it all but the last 5 feet and 4 low did it with ease. overall this vehicle is great. |

Is everything still good?
1998 K1500- 6.5" Cepek front/ 6" Alcan rear, 3" BL, Realift, 6 lug 14FF w/ Detroit, 4.88s, & 36x14.50 PJs.
Stuffing tires is like stuffing a bra - it may look good from the outside, but there's nothing good to play with. |

I've been looking at them. They seem to have a lot of annoying problems, I hope yours doesn't. I'm also looking at the Highlander.
