Got any Virtual Technologies info? I heard they aren't made anymore but I know from experience that they slam.

Re: Basic Sub info/product list

Diamond Audio is also a really good company. I have a TDX 12 subwoofer that punded in my car, but im not sure im going to put it in my truck now. They have some nice woofers and amplifiers. The one 12 handles 1000 watts RMS and the amp puts out 1200 watts RMS. Going on a year and a half, and i havent heard a comparable bass from just one speaker. (I havnt heard just one W7 though, there have always been at least two in their car)

Re: Basic Sub info/product list

Where's MA Audio. I've got a 120xL with a 600 watt Hifonics amp on it. The amp is bridged at 3 ohms so it's pushing close to 900 watts continuous. In my Camaro it hit 146.1 in a 1.6 cubic foot ported box w/ a 3 inch port.

Re: Basic Sub info/product list

Hey i've got some old school Xtant. matter of fact what other 12 " subs have you seen that have been pounded for 6 years in a dirty truck, with 800 watts to push it, and then still be working although with a much smaller amp this time. This thing is the old style back when they were black cones with orange lettering

Re: Basic Sub info/product list

Ascendant Audio, there line is growing.... to meet your criteria they only make two 12" models and are developing new non XBl^2 technology subs.
There is no such thing as lower quality, but the cheaper priced 12 is the ATLAS and the more expensive with more XMAX and XMech is the AVALANCHE. These are SQL subs that don't distort and low end monsters.
