Re: New Door Pods (Work Log)!

Hi there Damien, Very nice work. Anything for the NNBS '07 on? I have a Suburban that I would love to upgrade the speakers in and your pods are of the highest workmanship I've seen in a very long time. Looking for front and rear solutions too.

Re: New Door Pods (Work Log)!

No I do not have a router table. To do all of the trim work I simply flipped my plunge router over and worked at a very slow speed. My Dewalt router features a speed setting, so I can make it go fast or slow and controlled. The circle jig is called a Jasper Jig and I bought it off of Amazon. I actually bought 2 different sized ones, the model 200 and 400, as they came with a combo set. I was lucky that I found a seller on Amazon who only wanted $25 for a brand new set. Normally they run about $40, which is still pretty damn good. Here is the link.

The best place to get router bits is:
http://www.routerbits.com/cgi-router...274+router.htm
They feature Whiteside bits which are nice quality and very affordable prices.

Good luck and let me know if you need anything else!
