Crew cab ported box
I got everything now, so here's some pics.

a single 10" enclosure because of the chamber space, 48"W x 10.25"H x 7"Bottom Depth x 5"Top depth. Gross box vol, 1.217^3ft. Slot port, 9.25" x 1" x 22.75"Long @32Hz. After displacement, 1.060^3ft net vol. Built from UL-MDF. Seams are matched and double sealed. Dado cut end caps. Seams fastened with Tite bond glue and counter sunk drywall screws. Re: Crew cab ported box
Looks like a nicely built box, but I would have recommended more port area.

Re: Crew cab ported box
I dont think you could port it with 2, I got it installed today and it sounds pretty damn good. I only have the stock unit hooked to it now too. I plan on getting these components with an alpine deck sometime soon (hopefully), it can only get better

PIONEER PREMIER TS-C720PRS 2OOW COMPONENT SPEAKERS

I would recommend this to anyone with a crew cab, it fits my needs. I spent around 500$ total

Dayton HO...

I'm lazy and don't want to do math this morning... What's your box volume? (net)

Edit: reread again... You've too much volume... From my research, about .7ft^3 is all the bigger you want to go on that sub.

Re: Crew cab ported box
Those HO's are kick arse! For the price, they're hard to beat.

I have a 10" in my '96.

Re: Crew cab ported box
Well I dig it, it sounds nice. After a while the lower back part of my skull hurts! Too much LAMB OF GOD double bass! Sub cost me 119$ shipped, partexpress had a special w/free shipping.

I'm running 500RMS @4OHMS

Re: Crew cab ported box
Got any more info on this box? I can't find East Coast enclosures information... would like to have a box similar to this possibly. Or ready to sell yours???

How's the Dayton HO working out in this box? I thought the Dayton like to be in a sealed enclosure more so than a ported enclosure....

They work just fine in either. Conveniently in the sealed domain though they excel in small enclosures.
