Re: New Member/Truck, just finished the stereo..
now that's how you dynamat a truck. question, did you notice a "popping" sound from the adhesive on the back of the dynaliner? reason I ask is I did the floor of a chevelle a couple months ago and at first when you put your feet on the carpet you could hear the dynapad "sticking". had to pull it back up and spray adhesive under it.

if only you had the dynamat lettering all in one direction. you would have gotten the award of the year for dynamatting. lol

Very, very nice. Excellent choices, great install. You obviously know what you are doing and what you want. Bump for good quality equipment and install.

I love that Double Din unit. My buddy installed one of those in his SS.

man, im voting this for the "best first post" award.

Q: how did you get the 205 to fit flush with the dash? due to the mounting kit, mine always protrudes about an inch.

when you bolt the radio to the brackets of a dashkit or factory mounting brackets (most import vehicles), instead of using the sleeve that comes with the radios.

doing it that way allows you to slide the radio forward/backward.

Re: New Member/Truck, just finished the stereo..
if youre talking bout the truck in your sig, then your kit prolly didnt have an iso mount option like newer trucks. in his truck, thats the only way to mount it.

The dynaxorb looks kinda iffy to me... is it decent? It looks like the factory plastic liner to me... doesnt look like its gonna add alot of mass to the doors to help curb vibrations... otherwise good lookin job!

Wow that's nice. Everything is cleanly installed. I like where you put those switches and the extra cig plug. Did you do the install yourself?
